Position it so your cat steps directly onto it when exiting the litter box — that's the moment most loose litter is shaken off their paws.
As your cat walks across, the hexagonal honeycomb holes catch loose granules still stuck to their paws — most of it falls through before they reach the floor.
Trapped litter collects on the waterproof base layer instead of reaching your floor, and any spilled water or urine is stopped from soaking through.
Lift the mat and tip the trapped litter back into the litter box to reuse it, or rinse the mat under water for a deeper clean. Cleaning takes seconds either way.
